Silicon Valley Global Startup Foundation will open access to Georgian startups with multimillion-dollar investment under the Silicon Valley Partnership between Tbilisi and Israel. The purpose of the fund is to support the process of formulating Georgia’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, discovering high-tech, innovative startups and promoting their commercialization on the international market.
Israeli Silicon Vadi investors will invest in any startup working in the current tech industry: artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, digital media, e-commerce, mobile applications, Fintech, P2P platforms, virtual and augmented reality, gaming industry, Internet of Things IoT, Blockchain. Opportunities for financing startups in other industries, outstanding and innovative, are also discussed.
Of the registered candidates, only selected startups will meet with Silicon Vadi Angel Investors. The individual terms of the partnership will be discussed with all selected candidates.
Georgian Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development’s Innovation and Technology Agency is a supporter of the Global Startup Fund, which is also considering funding startups selected under the Dollar to Dollar Basis Initiative.
The Global Startup Fund is supported by the Israeli Techub in Georgia, which provides delivering selected startups with 5 months of development and technology development services as well as discounted services on web design, strategic consulting, marketing consulting, financial and managerial consulting, and legal support, totaling $ 30,000.
